小孩出生在菲律宾，但是父母都是外籍的问题

请问洪律师：如果孕妇在菲律宾医院出生了小孩，但是父母双方都是外籍，那么这个小孩可以入菲律宾国籍吗？父母可以用照顾小孩的名义留在菲律宾工作生活吗？

1. 一开始小孩还是外国籍，成人以后小孩才可以选择入菲籍或继续他的外国籍。

因為父母都是外藉，所以小孩都不可能是菲藉，因為菲律賓跟美國不同小孩要跟父母。

Hi, when a child is born in the Philippines and his parents are both foreigners, he follows the citizenship of his parents. However, he may be able to secure permanent residency in the country under "native born".

After the child turns 21, he may apply for naturalization ( not elect Filipino citizenship ) under Republic Act 9139 or the Administrative Naturalization Law of 2000.
