Hi, please see my older posts on what to watch out for when you are buying a second hand condominium. Having said that, usually the seller shoulders the 6% capital gains tax and the buyer pays for the 1.5% documentary stamp tax and registration fees.
This is assuming that the seller is also an individual and not a corporation. Otherwise, seller will be charged an additional 12% VAT for the said transaction.
