The seeds of partnership

The Haier Philippines story starts at the birth of SANYO Philippines, Inc. (SPI) which dates back to 1971. SPI’s manufacturing history started with the production of high quality and durable gas stoves. Later, the product lines were expanded to refrigerators, television sets, air conditioners and washing machines. SPI continued its manufacturing operations until it was shifted to 100% product importation in July 2004. Continuous product innovation led SPI to the award of “Outstanding Manufacturer of Refrigerators” from 1998 to 2003 by the Consumer Union of the Philippines.

On Oct 18, 2011, Haier Group and SANYO Electric Co., Ltd. signed a final agreement for Haier to acquire SANYO’s washing machine and consumer-use refrigerator businesses in Japan, and washing machine, consumer-use refrigerator and other consumer electric appliance businesses in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Vietnam. The new company HAIER ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES PHILIPPINES, INC.(HPI) was established based on SPI in 2012. The integration of resources of R&D and manufacturing of Haier Group worldwide offers more capability to the local HPI to satisfy the demand of Filipino consumers.

Branding experience

Haier PH has been the official partner of PBA as the league's "Official Home Solution Brand Partner." since January 2020 and renewed its partnership last May 2022.

Service/After Sales


Contact Center Supervisor (1)

Oversee daily handling of inbound calls, e-mails, live chat, social media, and the other inbound customer channels; and execution of outbound tasks which include dispatch verification, satisfaction survey, and other forms of customer verification.

Continuous improvement on both inbound and outbound flow in response to business situations and customer feedback.

Ensure resources including staffing, training, and technology, are in place to achieve operational requirements according to management direction and customer behavior. 

Design and conduct regular performance evaluations for agents, offering constructive feedback, and implementing development plans.

Analyze customer feedback and work with the corresponding responsible team to ensure all concerns are closed.

Collaborate with other departments to resolve complex customer issues.

Conduct regular performance evaluations for agents' satisfactory survey, and work order verification.

Manage escalations, VIP customers, DTI complaints, and the like.

Oversee projects concerning customer touchpoints for aftersales.

Key Indices: Service Level and Answer Rate, 24 Hour Handling, and the like.

Qualifications:

Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in any course

Has 5 years of work experience as Customer Service Supervisor

Team player with a good personality

Willing to work 100% on-site in Bagumbayan, Quezon City from 9 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday. 


Technical and Quality Engineer (3)

He / She is responsible for delivering our customers the highest technical support and quality assurance standards. He/she will report to the customer service director. The technical support and quality leader will lead technical training initiatives for all Haier products, coordinate closely with project managers, and liaise with the factory and product suppliers to ensure that quality management procedures are consistent and upheld.


Technical Support Management

Audit work orders to ensure the right service interventions are being executed by service centers.

Quality Management

Monitor and report on quality metrics, and initiate corrective actions when deviation occurs. 

Ensure end-to-end resolution for escalation on quality. 
Technical Training and Development

Design, implement, and deliver training programs for service center technicians to update/troubleshoot, service, and repair skills. 

Monitor the technical readiness of the service team, especially for new products and strategic product releases.

Technical Knowledge Management

Localize, control, cascade, and ensure maximum utilization of technical content for end-users, service personnel, and service center technicians.

Key indices: First Time Fix Service, Repeated Repair in 3 months. Product Defect Ratio, etc. 

Qualifications:

Graduate of Mechanical Engineering. 

At least 6 to 1 year of work experience in the Appliance Industry.

Amenable to work in Bagumbayan, Quezon City from Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm


DSC Supervisor – Calabarzon

Responsible for the overall after-sales business of HPI in the Calabarzon Region. This includes but is not limited to:

Operating the direct service center of HPI by making sure technician/s and all other resources are fully utilized to provide the best service to customer service, and by following proper operational and administrative procedures.

Managing authorized service centers in the assigned area making sure HPI jobs are well-prioritized and closed within the fastest possible time. 

Honing service-sales relationships within the assigned coverage area by making sure aftersales VOCs of dealers are attended to promptly.

Providing root-cause analysis and executing strategic action plans for low-achieving KPIs and initiating innovative activities that help HPI achieve its commitment to support end users.

Qualifications:

With good experience working for the after-sales industry or consumer electronics

With experience in leading and mentoring teams

Willing to do weekend and fieldwork

Good in analysis and executed tasks/projects until completion.

Resilient and agile in dealing with changing business landscapes.

Must be a graduate with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or any major but engineering.


Sales


Sales Account Executive (7)

- Isabela (1), Ilo-Ilo (1), Bacolod (1),South Luzon (1), Bicol (1), Head Office (1 - Kyzen)

Responsibilities:

Account Management – prepare quotations and proposals to clients. Manages, monitors and coordination of marketing activities of the dealer

Collection and Management – Monitor account receivables and deductions of dealers. Monitor dealer’s payments and collect receivables. Check and balance purchase orders vs. actual deliveries.

Channel expansion – create a new account and visit prospective dealers

Report generation – generate and submission of reports on PSI, EOD, key tasks, expansion channel plans, and others on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis

Administrative and supervision – Monitoring of promoters’ performance/sell-out. Conduct product training for promoters. Shopfront development and expansion, display share and SKU expansion.

Qualifications:

College graduate with Business Ad degree or any four year course

At least 2 years in appliance industry

Has sales management as a skill


Sales Admin Assistant (1)

Responsibilities:

Daily Report (Pending, Encoded & Served PO’s).

Received POs from nationwide dealers through email & fax to encode daily reports to know the status of stock from the SAP.

Encoding served & unserved purchase orders from nationwide dealers

Monitors the status of dealers' accounts if capable of being issued or blocked in SAP.

Monitors the inventories & new arrival stock coming from the logistic department report to know the status of actual stock vs POs.

Monitors AE’s dealer’s price.

Encoded monitoring download from the system to check if all POs are already encoded.

Monitors dispatched reports coming from 3PL to know the status of deliveries.

Download posted sales from the system to check the status of the encoded sales.


Finance

Finance Manager

Responsibilities:

Providing leadership in creating a culture of risk management in the organization especially related to budgets

Ensure statutory compliance and timely reporting of financial information to the management – budgets, forecasts, and monthly and annual financial statements

Participating in strategic planning discussions with other departments to determine resource requirements

Developing financial models to support strategic planning activities and analyzing financial data, trends and patterns to identify potential risks or opportunities for improvement

Oversees all Finance sub-departments: Treasury, Credit and Collection, Accounting, Tax and Financial Planning and Analysis

Supervises and oversees accounting system implementation and enhancement of work processes

Coordinate and engage with external auditors to ensure proper accounting practices and year-end audits

Manage local tax reporting (review of current tax and deferred tax computation, tax estimates and tax returns submission) to ensure compliance with local statutory requirements

Coaching and career development for team members

Any and all duties as requested by the EMPLOYER that are reasonable and that are customarily performed by a person holding a similar position in the industry or business of the EMPLOYER

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or similar field.

Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in finance

Must have experience in leading a finance department composed of various functions such as FP&A, Credit and Collection, Accounting, Treasury and Tax.

Must be a CPA

Proficiency in Visio, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint) , Sharepoint and Power BI.

Outstanding communication and presentation skills

Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities


Marketing

Marketing Manager

Responsibilities:

Coordinate directly with potential influencers for collaboration

Create on shop activities relating to PBA

Qualifications:

Graduate of Business related or Mass communication course

At least four (1) to five (2) combined experience in ATL and BTL Marketing  


Product Planning

Product Manager (KDA)

Responsibilities:

Product Management: Managing and control of the ff. major key task:

Strategic Business Unit (Profit/Loss)

OPSI (Order-Purchase-Sales-Inventory)

Product Development (product roadmap & stage including market research)

Brand Management (Sell-in/Sell-out Effeciency)

Qualifications:

At least 2-3 experience of business development and/or marketing but fresh graduates are welcome to apply 

Worked experience in Home Appliance Industry is an Advantage

Technical Skills: Computer literate (powerpoint,excel)

Bachelor's graduate of any course

Can work 100% on-site in Bagumbayan, Quezon City
